Prevention

Be always extremely careful, carrying out works in an impellent compartment.

Before the work beginning in an impellent compartment, muffle the engine, put the car on the hand brake and get keys from the ignition lock.

Always let's time to the engine cool down. You can burn, if concern hot elements of the engine.

Try not to spill the engine oil, cooling liquid of an automatic transmission, brake liquid, antifreeze and clearing liquids on hot elements of the engine, especially on pipes of an exhaust system, as these liquids легковоспламеняемы.

Never concern blades of the fan of a radiator. They can unexpectedly start to rotate, when the thermorelay will turn on the fan. The fan of a radiator turns on automatically when the temperature of cooling liquid reaches a certain level and continues to work (even at the switched-off ignition) while the temperature of cooling liquid not to go down. The fan can work till 10 minutes and more.

Always disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator before the work beginning with fuel system or electric equipment system. Never smoke and do not use heating devices or open fire at work with gasoline. Carry out works in the presence of the serviceable fire extinguisher.

Be especially careful at the working engine.

If it is necessary for you to carry out works at the working engine, always check, that the car was put on the hand brake and the lever of gear shifting transferred to neutral situation (for a mechanical transmission) or parking transfer (for an automatic transmission) was included.

Be always careful and watch that ornaments, chains, long hair or clothes did not get to fan blades, maple belts or other moving parts.

For prevention of receiving electric blow and injuries never concern wires or other elements of system of the ignition, being under a high voltage at operation of the engine and at its start.
