GENERAL INFORMATION

Adjustment of installation of wheels

It is recommended to inspect adjustment of wheels after at least 1000-1200 km of run when springs of a suspension bracket managed to enter into a normal operating mode.

For check it is necessary:

      – exact adjustment of the measuring equipment;
      – that the mass of the car at carrying out check equaled to only its own weight with the filled tank and the established equipment;
      – that pressure in tires equaled to the standard;
      – that the car was located on an equal surface, also before carrying out check the car is necessary for rocking several times to establish a suspension bracket;
      – that there was no excessive free wheeling in the steering mechanism;
      – check a suspension bracket on existence of an excessive free wheeling and damages.

Definition / adjustment of a corner of a convergence of back wheels (for cars with a forward drive)

1. If a corner of a convergence of both wheels positive (+/+) or negative (-/-), subtract smaller value from bigger and divide on 2.

2. If a corner of a convergence of one wheel positive, and the second negative (+/-), combine both values and divide on 2.

Disorder of forward wheels, adjustment (for cars with the spherical hinges of a forward suspension bracket fastening in 2 points)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1) weaken both nuts of fastening of the spherical hinge to the suspension bracket lever (are specified by shooters)
2) move the spherical hinge by means of the lever and adjust a corner of disorder of forward wheels
3) tighten fastening nuts to 65 N of m.
4) repeatedly check a corner of disorder of wheels and adjust it if it is necessary
5) check a corner of a convergence of wheels, adjust it if it is necessary
